Marla Lynn (Davis) Esham of Seaford, passed away on Tuesday, Feb. 11, 2020, at Seaford Center – Genesis in Seaford.
She was born on Aug. 23, 1956 in Seaford, daughter of the late William and Audrey (Niblett) Davis.
Ms. Esham was a dedicated employee of FMC Dialysis Services in Seaford and previously held positions in home healthcare and at Peninsula Dry Cleaners.
Ms. Esham enjoyed baking in her younger years and found great joy in creating delicious treats for her family and friends. She loved music – all kinds – and throughout her life, one would rarely find her without a radio playing. She was an avid lover of animals, especially her beloved feline companions, Baby, Buster, and Gracy, and Paws, who was there to greet her when she crossed over. Above all, Ms. Esham treasured time spent with those she held dear. She was a loving and devoted sister, aunt, and friend who will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
Ms. Esham is survived by her brother, William Davis; her sister, Vicki L. Truitt; her nephews, William “Billy” Davis and Jesse Davis; and her nieces, Krystall Davis, Holly Truitt, and Heidi Davis.
A funeral service was held on Wednesday, Feb. 19, at Watson-Yates Funeral Home, Seaford. Interment was in Blades Cemetery.
