Lisa Ann Timmons of Laurel passed away on May 11, 2022 at her home surrounded by her loving family. Born in Seaford, she was the daughter of the late Thomas H. Hastings and Jean Hastings Lambrose.
Lisa enjoyed gardening and planting beautiful flowers, going to the beach, and watching the Redskin football games with her family. She will be remembered for being a “social butterfly,” this amazing personality trait she was blessed to have enabled her to host social gatherings with great hospitality. Lisa is survived by her son, Timothy Paul Timmons, Jr. and his wife Putt of Pennsylvania; sisters, Debbie Matthews and her husband Buddy, and Pam Saunders; sisters-in-law, Vicky Johnson, Lisa Mae Timmons, Donna Riggins, and Terri Lynn Knox; brother-in-law, David Timmons, and several nieces and nephews also survive her. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her loving husband, Timothy Paul Timmons, Sr.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, May 21 at 3 p.m. at Bethel Worship Center, 26648 Sussex Hwy., Seaford, Delaware 19973. A visitation will be held at the church from 2-3 p.m. Pastor Joe LeCates will officiate. Interment will be private. Arrangements are in the care of the Hannigan, Short, Disharoon Funeral Home in Laurel.
