Laurel Historical Society presents “Playing Detective With Old Photographs”

Featuring guest speaker John Fillmore on Saturday, Oct. 19, at St. Philip’s Episcopal Church, Laurel.

Fillmore, a native Delawarean and retired history teacher, has always been fascinated with old photographs. This interest has evolved into a service in which he digitizes and restores old photographs.  He has made multiple contributions to the image collection of the Delaware State Archives, as well as to the collections of several local historical societies.

A reception will start at 5:30 p.m. Dinner, catered by the Southern Grill, will start at 6, and the presentation at 7.
