Irene Koslowski of Laurel passed away on May 1, 2022 surrounded by her loving family. Born in Baltimore, Md., she was the daughter of the late James Ozazewski and Sophia Ozazewski. Irene was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and homemaker. Irene loved to cook and play board games, especially UNO and Yahtzee.
She is survived by her son, Rodger Koslowski and his wife Sallie, and her grandson, Ryan Koslowski. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Maurice Albert Koslowski, and her sister, Theresa Hynson.
A viewing was held at the Hannigan, Short, Disharoon Funeral Home in Laurel on Monday, May 9. Interment was held at Loudon Park Cemetery in Baltimore on Tuesday, May 10. Pastor Scott Conn officiated.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Mrs. Koslowski’s honor to the American Heart Association or the Breast Cancer Foundation. Arrangements are in the care of the Hannigan, Short, Disharoon Funeral Home in Laurel.
