Ravens’ aficionado and avid golfer Harry Lee Magaha, Jr. joined our Lord in Heaven after 80 years of love and dedication to his family on Jan. 14, 2022 in Seaford.

Born on Sept. 10, 1941 in Baltimore, Md. to Harry Lee Magaha. Sr. and Lillian Martha McCubbin Magaha, he married Flora A. Magaha on June 27, 1963 and spent the next 58 years building a family that welcomed everyone with open arms.

Harry spent his life in dedication to supporting his family as a supervisor at a trucking company, and later in life, as a limousine driver. He served active duty in the Navy from 1960 to 1962 on the USS WASP CVS-18 and spent three years in the reserves after. He loved to travel, dance, play horseshoes, drink his homemade Irish cream, and making people smile. He never faltered in generously supporting those he loved and will be deeply missed for decades to come.

He is survived by his wife, children, Michael Patrick Magaha married to Tammy Magaha, Colleen Magaha Clower married to Leonard Clower II; and adoring grandchildren, Lauren Magaha engaged to Brian MaDonald, Michael Magaha Jr. and partner Erin Arden, and Meghan Clower Boyd married to Mark Boyd. His surviving siblings include Margaret Magaha Harden married to Earl Harden (deceased) and Cheryl Magaha Thomas married to Jack Thomas. Harry’s legacy will, also, continue with several great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.

A viewing will be held Monday, Jan. 24 from 6 to 8 p.m. at Cranston Funeral Home, 300 N. Shipley Street, Seaford, DE.  Graveside services will be held on Tuesday, Jan. 25 at 1 p.m. at Delaware Veterans Memorial Cemetery, 26669 Patriots Way, Millsboro.
