Harold F. Cook of Seaford, passed away on Thursday, July 18, 2019, at the Country Rest Home in Greenwood.
He was born on Feb. 11, 1936 in Saranac Lake, N.Y., son of the late Myron and Hilda (Hart) Cook.
Mr. Cook was a proud US Navy veteran, having served honorably from 1954 to 1958. He built a career as a credit manager, working for Penco in Seaford and the Speakman Company in Seaford.
Mr. Cook was an avid golfer, hitting the links whenever the opportunity arose, and he genuinely enjoyed time spent with his wife, Rose. He was a loving and devoted husband and father who will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
In addition to his parents, Mr. Cook was preceded in death by his beloved wife of 54 years, Rose Marie Cook on June 8, 2019; and his sister, Betty Hockford.
He is survived by his sons, Harold W. Cook (Rhonda) of Bridgeville and Skip Cook (Jeri) of Hebron, Md.; his grandsons, Eric Cook and Adam Cook; and his many nieces and nephews.
All services will be held privately.
