Frances Kelley Hearn of Seaford, loving wife, mother, and grandmother, passed away peacefully among loved ones, on Wednesday, Nov. 3, 2021. Frances, or Fran as she was known by friends and family, was born Aug. 1, 1945 in Wilmington. She was the second of three sisters born to the late Harold (Buck) and Bessie Kelley.

Fran was an accomplished baker, cake decorator, and home cook. Every grandchild, on every birthday, always had a cake made by mom-mom Fran, and friends and family would rave over her homemade chicken and slippery dumplings. In her later years, Fran enjoyed bicycling and walks in the Wichita Mountains of Oklahoma with her dear friend David.

In addition to her parents, Fran was preceded in death by her husband, William T Hearn, Jr. and her daughter Holly Ann Hearn. She is survived by her three children: Donya Marie Hearn and her husband Kenneth Williams, Angela Saudarg and her husband William Saudarg, and William Thomas Hearn III and his wife Christina Marie Hearn; eight grandchildren: Clay (CJ) and Kenneth Hearn, Rodney, Christopher Hearn, Carmon Ray, Jaiyel Griffith, and Cassie and Madelyn Hearn; four great-grandchildren; her eldest sister, Edith O’Day, her youngest sister, Karen Holloway; and dear friend and companion, David Disbrow.
