For the 29th year, Charity Lodge of Laurel will be hosting the Cemetery Haunted House on Oct. 22, 23, and 29, 30. Tickets will be sold from 7 p.m. until 11 p.m. and are $10. Canned goods will not be collected this year, but your monetary donation will be given to the food pantry. We are happy to report that this year the event will be held in the cemetery house. Martha Rebekah Lodge will be selling snacks as well as hamburgers, hot dogs, hot sausage, fries, baked goods and refreshments. Park at the Laurel Fire House on 10th Street and enjoy the hay ride to the event. Face masks are suggested. Please join us for this yearly fundraiser to benefit the community.
