Dorothy “Dot” Dulis of Laurel passed away on April 5, 2021 at the Delmar Manor in Delmar, Md., surrounded by her loving family. Born in Princess Anne, she was the daughter of the late Charles Wesley Travis and Lillian Messick Travis Warburton. Dorothy worked for a sewing factory in Laurel, and later for the E.I. Dupont Company in Seaford before having her children. When she and her husband started their family, Dot stayed home to raise her family until her youngest child started school. It was at that time she began working for the Acme Market in Laurel, and she was with them from 1970-1994. She loved bowling and baseball and particularly loved the New York Yankees.

Dot is survived by her children; Alan Dulis, David Dulis and his wife Jennifer, Brenda Rubino and her husband Mark, Pam Dill and her companion Mike Riley, and Linda Dulis and her companion Ward Harris; grandchildren, Gina White (Catfish), Amanda Lynch, Matt Rubino (Kristi), Jessica Lynch, Julie McCaffrey (Pete), Joshua Munoz, Austin Dulis (Becca), Madi Dulis, Caroline Keith, Lexi Harris, and Mitchell Harris; great grandchildren, Jonathon Lynch (Chelsey), Cameron White, Carson Cooper, Kayla Jacko, Emma Rubino, Annabelle Porter, Sophie Rubino, Ryker Johnson, Kenzie McCaffrey, and Kolby McCaffrey; great great granddaughter, Adeline Lynch; sister, Ruth Nice (Bud); brother-in-law and sister-in-law, John and Ann Dulis. Several nieces and nephews also survive her. In addition to her parents, Dorothy was preceded in death by her husband C. Angelo Dulis; a newborn baby daughter and grandson, Brock Montague; brothers, George Travis and Robert Travis; and her sisters, Anna Hitchens, and Doris Barron.

A walk-through viewing was held on Monday, April 12 at the Hannigan, Short, Disharoon Funeral Home in Laurel. A funeral service was held privately. Burial followed in Odd Fellows Cemetery in Laurel. Online condolences may be sent to the family by visiting www.hsdfuneralhome.com.
