Donald L. Carmine of Seaford, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, Sept. 24, 2019, at Nanticoke Memorial Hospital.
He was born on Dec. 30, 1939 in Salisbury, Md., son of the late Joseph and Ethel (Willey) Carmine.
Mr. Carmine was a graduate of Seaford High School, Class of 1959. He was a pipe fitter for Local 782 in Seaford, retiring after 35 dedicated years.
Mr. Carmine was a loving and devoted husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother, and friend. He was loved by many and will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
In addition to his parents, Mr. Carmine was preceded in death by his son, John Carmine; his daughter, Donna Hubbard; and his granddaughter, Hannah Louise White.
He is survived by his beloved wife, Betsy Carmine of Seaford; his son, Joseph Benjamin Morris of Greenwood; his daughters, Tracey Higginbotham (Tim) of Indiana and Sara Beth White of Bridgeville; his granddaughters, Rebekah Moore, Elizabeth White, and Sophia White; his great-grandson, Noah; his sister, Cynthia Cummings of Seaford and her children Lauri Slone and Steven Wisniewski; his numerous nieces and nephews; and his loyal canine companions, Prissy and Jefta.
There will be a remembrance of Donald Carmine’s life on Friday, Oct. 11, at 6 p.m. at Wesley Church Community Hall on Atlanta Road in Seaford.
Arrangements are in the care of Watson-Yates Funeral Home, Seaford.
