Daytime Lane Closures at Seaford Road and Oneal Road Intersection for All Way Stop Control Project
Seaford: The Delaware Department of Transportation’s (DelDOT) Traffic Signal Construction Section in conjunction with Kriss Contracting are scheduled to install an All-Way Stop Control at the intersection of Alternate Route 13/Seaford Road and Oneals Road to improve intersection safety.
The project will include new Stop signs, warning signs, “Stop Ahead” pavement markings, and flashing beacons will be installed along Seaford Road as part of the project. The safety enhancements will now require motorists along both directions of Seaford Road to stop at the intersection with Oneals Road.
The construction will begin on Monday, February 22, 2021 through early April, pending weather. Motorists can anticipate daytime lane and shoulder closures on weekdays from 9 a.m. until 3 p.m.
Flaggers will be on-site to direct motorists through the intersection.
