Dale Parker passed away May 24, 2021 in the Orange Park Medical Center.
He was born to Clarence and Elva Parker on Dec. 22, 1940 in Sussex County.
Dale married Verleada Ward on March 1, 1975 and later married Anna Louise Wilson May 6, 2000. Anna preceded him in death on Dec. 2, 2005.
He served in the U.S. Army May 27, 1959 until May 15, 1962.
Dale became affiliated with the Loyal Order of Moose on April 14, 1991 when he joined Seaford Lodge #1728. He received his Fellowship degree on Aug. 26, 2000. He was a Past Governor on May 1, 2000. He sponsored 13 members in his lifetime.
He came to Moosehaven on July 25, 2016 where he resided for four and a half years.
A private family service will be held in Seaford.
He is survived by his son Chris Parker and his wife Sara; grandchildren Molly, Aiden, and Clara; brothers Jerry and Richard; and sisters Janet and Pat. He was preceded in death by brothers Donald, James, Joseph, and Ralph, and sisters Bette and Doris.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in memory of Dale may be sent to Moosehaven, 1701 Park Ave., Orange Park, FL 32073.
