To share the latest coastal science while protecting our community during the COVID-19 pandemic, Coast Day 2020 will be held as a virtual event on Sunday, Oct. 4 from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Some of your annual favorites will transition online fairly easily, such as Focus on the Coast lectures. Others will continue in a modified way. Seafood cooking demonstrations, for instance, may turn into prerecorded videos demonstrating a recipe followed by a question-and-answer session on Coast Day.
There will be opportunities to engage with presenters and fellow Coast Day fans over social media and possibly activities to do at home.
