Arlene Traister, formerly of Seaford, passed away on Dec. 30, 2020 at home in Milton.

She was born on April 3, 1936 in Kittanning, Penn., the daughter of the late Nora and William Ball.

Arlene enjoyed volunteering at Nanticoke Memorial Hospital and was an active member of St. John’s United Methodist Church in Seaford. She was also a long-time member of the Eastern Star, Ruth Chapter in Seaford. She devoted much of her life to helping others through volunteer work and caring for friends and family.

She is survived by her children and their spouses, Karen and Mike Taylor, Linda and Ty Bowden, Scott and Lauranne Traister and her beloved grandchildren, Erin Taylor, Matthew Taylor (Jackie), Tyler Bowden and Jamie Bowden Moore (Aaron).

She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 43 years, Ray Traister.

Graveside Services were held on Friday, Jan. 8 at Odd Fellows Cemetery, Stein Hwy. in Seaford.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Cheer Adult Day Care Center, Georgetown.
