Alice Marie Beebe Miller of Seaford passed away on Thursday, Nov. 12, 2020 at the Manor House in Seaford.
Alice and her husband, John Richard “Dick” Miller were part of the founders and were active members of Christ Lutheran Church in Seaford, where she was a member for over 60 years and a member of LWML (Lutheran Women’s Missionary League). She graduated from Milford High School. She was a stay-at-home mom, raising five children. Alice and Dick had two beach houses which he built. These houses were for the enjoyment of her and all of the extended family. After retirement they enjoyed traveling to Florida, Hawaii and Europe.
Her husband Dick passed away in 1995, she was also preceded in death by a son, David F. Mayer II. She is survived by four children, Nancy Mayer Perry (Chris), Douglas R. Miller (Gilda), Donald A. Miller (Lynn) and Frances Miller Ash (Richard); 11 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.
Graveside services were on Monday, Nov. 16 at St. Johnstown Cemetery in Greenwood.
